Bills wrap-up 3-day vet minicamp in energetic fashion
The helmets were on. The music was blasting. The coaches were closely watching every step and throw. But here, players still can’t touch one another. Welcome to NFL veteran minicamp.
The Bills wrapped up their three-day voluntary veteran minicamp Thursday inside the ADPRO Sports Training Center in Orchard Park in a very energetic session.
Offensive lineman Richie Incognito said he noticed the energy on the field and contributed it to new head coach Sean McDermott’s approach.
“Now that we have Sean here,” he said, “we’re just out on the field competing, flying around. Practice is fun. I’m tired. It’s been an eventful three days. We’re flying around.....(McDermott) is eager to compete. He is an energetic guy. He brings a lot of energy. He wants energy in the meetings. There’s a lot of energy around the building. We’ve got music playing in the hallways. We’ve got music playing in the lunch room. The juices are flowing…..there were some points I was running and didn’t even know where I was running. I just made sure my butt was in gear.”
